There is warmth

Deep within you, under the heaps of doubt and clutter of stress and buzz of busyness, there burns a slow fire.

The Diné (Navajo) call it the crystal fire.

It is the spark of life that keeps your body moving, that allows all your organs to work together in glorious harmony so that blood gets everywhere it needs to go, and food is digested and muscles and bones move when you tell them to.

You may have a more scientific way of describing it.

Me?

When I hear too much:

  • What is my thing?
  • How will I figure this out?
  • When will he (or she) show up in my life?
  • Why is it so hard?
  • Why won’t they listen?
  • What is my life purpose?

I can’t help but think:

Pull up a chair to your fire.

It is warm.

Hi there! I know this is somewhat off topic
but I was wondewring which blog platform are you using for this site?
I’m getting sick and tired of Wordpress because I’ve had
issues with hackers and I’m looking at alternatives for another platform.
I would be great if you could point me in the direction
    of a good platform.

    Hello Pam,

Today I launched my website, 16 months after the 2009 washington, DC EFCN workshop. The book is coming along wonderfully, I have 2o organizations comprised of nearly 400,000 people supporting it. These are winning organizations that have allowed me to unpack their secrets within their walls and write about them.

Last month I was in Washington, DC sittng in Ian Bremmer’s office discussing his organization Eurasia Group and he is supporting my book, (he current book is a NYT best seller). We were slated for a 30 minute talk, he gave me 1 hour.

Last week I was at the Perkins School for the Blind in Boston, another amazing Winning Organization @ 186 years young! Next week I’m off to learn from NB Power of Canada, then to US Mint, then the FAA, and the list goes on. Thanks to your simple exercise of closing our eyes and imagining our life in a few years was the Tipping Point! I will be proud to send you my finished manuscript for the official Pam Slim reccomendation (if you like it that is!).

    Cheers’

Beautiful. Very inspirational like light at the end of the tunnel.
    Thanks.

  6. That’s very deep for a Monday morning! Inspirational though, so thanks very much!

  7. Hey, I did. It’s warm and pretty and will be, all November long (longer if I wish). Close your eyes .. can you hear your heart beat?

  8. Just today, I emailed my life coach about this very topic… the “endless tease” of how to figure out how my Life Purpose translates into my business particulars. My coach responded with a reminder of the power of “being with” whatever the questions and frustrations may be. Then I read your post. Pure beauty, the metaphor, the writing, the concept. Thank you!
