Before I start on a cooking frenzy, I wanted to make sure to tell all of you how much I am grateful for your friendship.
My son Josh (pictured above!) calls you all “my students”and reminds me daily to share things with you.
So from my family to yours, enjoy your day. For those of you outside of the U.S., you can join us by cooking and eating a really big meal, lying on the floor groaning, then watching your sport of choice.
Josh is a glowing beacon of love and beauty–even with a turkey on his head!
I’m so grateful for you…
Love, Hiro

I wish we had a holiday like Thanksgiving in the UK. We have so much to be grateful for and it would be good if we could all celebrate that together. I believe that if we don’t appreciate what we have got, and we take things for granted, we’ll lose something precious and only realise how precious it is once it’s gone.
So I will join in the spirit of the US holiday and say a big thank you for all our blessings. And one of them is you Pam.
This is my favorite holiday weekend! Happy Thanksgiving to you too. Let me also share you with you one of my favorite quotes on gratitude:
“Let us rise up and be thankful, for if we didn’t learn a lot today, at least we learned a little, and if we didn’t learn a little, at least we didn’t get sick, and if we got sick, at least we didn’t die; so, let us all be thankful.” – The Buddha

Hi Pam,
I am thankful for your friendship and that I get to be one of your students.
Tell Josh, “Don’t…move…there’s a turkey on your head.”
That is way cool, dude!
I wish you a Happy Thanksgiving too. I appreciate all the ideas that you posted on this blog. I know that I’ve learned a lot.
I hope your feast turns out to be the best Thanksgiving ever.

Please tell “your lil turkey” he’s a hero. Thanks for inspiring your Mom to be the amazing person she is for all of us each day, Josh!
Pam – the only people luckier than us, as your students, are your family – best to you and happy Thanksgiving – much appreciated is your effort, your time and your caring – as well as your sharp wit, intellect and powers of observation and sharing.
YOU ROCK!
