  1. Hi,

I’m a young entrapreneur still in college. I own and operate a retail company at offering thousands of products at very competitive prices.

Our biggest problem is directing traffic to my site. The products will sell themselves, but we’re having a hard time pulling in those consumers. With all the corporate monsters out there, is it possible to rise to the top?

Looking forward to any replies, but please do so in an email at and feel free to check out the site. I’m very interested at cross-linking with affiliates and offering discount codes to you and your visitors.

Thanks a ton for reading, hope some advice comes our way 🙂

I’d also like to add that Bob was a superb guest.

He had me knocked back on my feet because I was anticipating some serious tight-assed Oxford don/professorial type!

Wow was I wrong. Bob was so laid back and full of charm and the ease of delivery and eagerness to engage the listener in the conversation was so terrific. I guess there is humour in abundance in the man too.

As a kickoff show, it was so excellent. Bob and you were the Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire of VoM at that time!

Thanks so much for making me your first guest. I forgot it was your first show after about 15 seconds; you were smart and fun to talk to,and frankly, far better prepared than most interviewers. I especially liked how you brought a blend of realism and optimism about managing career to the conversation.

    Good luck with this adventure.

  4. And I loved the music clips used. Very appropriate! I think “Take this job and shove it” would be a cool theme song, although you don’t want to encourage people to burn bridges while escaping their cubicles.

Anyway, sis, enjoy the glow. You deserve it.

I noted the asshole useage too and also noted that you relaxed more after saying it.

Definately you need to have an anchor like this for the next shows too.

I was so proud and pleased to listen to your first radio show.

Also, glad you finished with a reminder to dial in questions. I will next time.

It was so good. I hope you had a blast. It sounded as if you did!

    Best wishes until next week

    Robert, Anna and Glenda:

Thank you all SO MUCH for your encouragement! It really means a lot to have cheerleaders behind me.

I was a little shakey before the first show, worried about managing the breaks, technology, etc., but once I got rocking and rolling, it was a blast. I can’t wait to do it again next week, and stir up some more trouble.

On a funny note, the engineers who produced my show at the station told me that they loved how many times I used the word “asshole” on the show — I guess it isn’t in the usual flavor of business channel vocabulary. Whatever it takes to shake things up! 🙂

Have a great weekend, and may your wonderful support and energy boomerang right back at you for your OWN great entrepreneurial adventures.

  8. Great show, Pam. You rock!

  9. robert says:

There will be one listener who will be whooping it up in his den!

I wish you well. I really do, because I have dreamed for this day too. Go Pam. Go wow them and have a fantastic show today.

Be well and enjoy it. Relax in your slax and have fun. Don’t forget to breathe!

    Best wishes for today
